About Me
Hi, I’m Brianah—a motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented student from Towson, Maryland. I’ve built my experience through years of hands-on work with both children and older adults, where I’ve learned how important trust, communication, and consistency are in providing meaningful support.
I currently work as a Social Services Assistant at Complete Care at Multi-Medical Center. My role includes helping with care planning meetings, documenting assessments like BIMS and PHQ-9, and being a reliable support for our residents. I also spent six amazing years at Child Care of Windsor, where I assisted with early learning and created fun, structured environments for preschoolers.
I’m working toward earning my MSW and plan to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Eventually, I hope to step into a leadership role in a long-term care setting, helping ensure that residents and families receive the support they deserve.
Top 5 Clifton Strengths
1. Empathy
I naturally sense the emotions of others, even when they are unspoken. This ability allows me to build strong connections with individuals across all ages and backgrounds.
In my work with young children and elderly residents, empathy helps me anticipate needs, validate feelings, and create safe spaces where people feel genuinely heard and supported. I use this strength to offer emotional presence, especially during difficult or transitional times, such as admitting into care or facing family challenges.
-
In the field: Empathy allows me to advocate effectively and build trusting, supportive relationships with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
2. Developer
I recognize potential in others and am energized by helping them grow. Whether it’s supporting a toddler learning new skills or encouraging an elderly resident’s sense of independence, I celebrate progress — even small wins.
As a Developer, I focus on each person's strengths, working to empower them toward greater well-being, confidence, and independence.
-
In the field: I approach every individual as capable of growth and improvement, helping foster resilience and confidence.
3. Achiever
I have a strong internal drive for accomplishment. Every day, I set clear goals for myself and work steadily toward them, whether it’s managing multiple resident assessments, supporting a busy classroom, or balancing academics with extracurriculars like dance.
Hard work, organization, and commitment are my habits — not just when it’s easy, but especially when it’s challenging.
-
In the field: Achiever helps me stay motivated, meet deadlines, complete thorough documentation, and consistently exceed expectations.
4. Responsibility
I take psychological ownership for the promises and duties I accept. If I say I will do something, I follow through — consistently, thoroughly, and with high ethical standards.
This strength makes me deeply reliable to colleagues, supervisors, clients, and families. I take pride in doing what’s right, even when no one is watching.
-
In the field: Responsibility ensures I am dependable with sensitive information, consistent with care delivery, and trusted to act in the best interests of those I serve.
5. Positivity
I bring energy, optimism, and enthusiasm into everything I do. Even in high-stress or emotionally heavy environments like healthcare or family services, I focus on solutions and encouragement rather than obstacles.
My upbeat spirit helps lift the people around me, whether it's young children needing motivation or elderly residents adjusting to life transitions.
